How do you become a magazine editor or writer?

No CommentHow do you get to write in a magazine or the newspaper? Is there a certain place you should send in ideas to? And last, is there any certain age you need to be to just send in ideas and possibly get something in a magazine/paper? (like a local paper or a magazine like those celebrity magazines or that Discovery Girls magazine)
