What are some tips on writing good, effective letters to celebrities to improve the chances of getting an autograph, picture, poster, any kind of response back etc?
tell them a funny story that has something to do with them or something like that.
Say that you have some one close to you EXTREMLY ill and that they may become a vegitable so there wish was to cradel an autograph from (insert celeb name here) before they can never move again! I don’t know it usually works on T.V.
I think it depends on the celebrity you are writing to. What I would do: tell them that you love their work (whether it be acting or music etc) and you would really love to receive an autograph from them. You can only try… but you never know. =) REMEMBER: they’re getting a lot of mail from different people, so if you don’t get a reply, don’t get discouraged! =)
I do this quite often and have gotten a lot of responses. The best letter should be simple. Tell them something about yourself, tell them what you like about them but keep it brief. Write what they do good in their business not physical things you like about them. The key is to not sound like a stalker! Include a picture of them or a note card for them to sign and a self address return envelope to send it back in. Odds are you will get an answer back, but it won’t be the celebrity( most likely someone pretending to be them or get an automatic letter) . Their lives are far to busy to answer every fan letter.
