This Batman movie is good- the hype of its arrival is beyond the birth of baby. although its glorification as a masterpiece is an overstatement. I felt the film was good-although is anyone savvy enough to rent or pull archived originals from the tv series?

I watched an excessive special on cable presented by Warner Bros.-its was a bunch of garbley goop- Warner claims Batman has some very deep cultural value and the psychology of Batman is a basis for intellectual studies- what a bunch of promotional garbage and crap that is. First of the original Batman is a romp in psychedelic tv fun and very not anything but a satirical play on a superhero-cops and robber theme.

The Dark Knight is a good flick- the soundtrack assisted in its development and ties to emotionally captivate the audience; but the highly moralistic and pompous message at the end of the film -was typical post 9-11 political manipulation, completely funny., and pathetic.

I liked the movie- it was slim pickens this summer- and after four or five previous films in the Batman Franchize, eventually you have to create a product worth the effort- or more layoffs at Warner.

clap clap clap. FYI the first X-Men was great and doesn’t need a psychologist and team of award specialists to clinically factualize its success.

I missed the film in the theaters- and was still really good on DVD. The complaints before seeing the movie and about it being excessively gorey made me cringe- because I hate films that rely on controlled external techniques in filmmaking to control a viewer audience/entice a customer.

But the film was not too,too gorey nasty for me- and any movie that scares me is definitley scarey. And last but not least, it is extremely difficult to make a good film- be it horror or comedy, about killer plants and vacationing adults in Latin America. (period).”The Ruins” is much better than expected and creepy- the special effects which were sometimes chintzy worked and the talking cell phone scene was weird- all true, too.

3 and half stars- A for effort and a green thumbs up.
